About Us


The Center for the Visual & Performing Arts (CVPA) is a not-for-profit community outreach program in association with Sage Granada Park UMC headquartered in Alhambra, California. It was established in 2006 with a small block grant provided by the California-Pacific Conference of Methodist Churches.


What We Do

CVPA provides various forms of entertainment and education to the local community such as:

- Musical performances

- Stage Plays

- Documentaries

- Workshops

- Art Exhibitions

CVPA supports local and nationally recognized talent and provides strong marketing and promotional support for the artists by way of advertising, psoters, flyers, banners and electronic media.

CVPA is very active in the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce and is well recognized within the local Methodist Church community.
